Ridiculously Fun Podcast
I was on the Practically Tactical show again recently, and this time I got to be on with two of my favorite people, Larry Lindenman of Point Driven Training ( https://pointdriventraining.com/), and Paul Sharp of Sharp Defense (https://sharpdefense.blog/). It was so amazingly fun and goofy, and we still managed to eventually talk about some good topics and info. Check it out:
New Seminar Vid Clip – drilling tips for BJJ with weapons
I just put up a new video where I talk about some tips for drilling BJJ, specifically guard work, with weapons. Enjoy!
New Radio Interview
I was on the terrific Ballistic Radio Show (http://ballisticradio.com/) recently and we got into some good talk about the usefulness of BJJ for Self-defense, whether entangled gunfights happen, and how to build a true fighting mindset. I thought it was a fun and informative interview. Check it out here:

Tweaking BJJ For Self-defense in a Weapons Based Environment Pt. 2

You can also see why the Combatives/”street” oriented SD trainers are so wildly off base when they say that BJJ players are not prepared for an opponent using foul tactics or weapons.

Here is a clip from a recent seminar where I talk about how we start to make the little changes needed to make our BJJ as effective as possible for self-defense:
